ATTEND INFORMATION NIGHT (recommended)

Each year, BAS holds an information night where you’ll hear from students, families, teachers, and the principal about what it’s like to be part of BAS. Attending information night is not required but recommended to learn about our school.

Our in-person Information Night for September 2026 entry was:

Next information night will be held in fall, 2026.

APPLY THROUGH TDSB LOTTERY

Beaches Alternative School is a TDSB public school. There are no admission criteria—admissions are done by lottery through the TDSB’s centralized Elementary Alternative Schools application process.

The application window for September 2026 entry opens in January 2026. Visit the TDSB application page for timelines.

• BAS is a small school, space is limited.

• JK: up to 10 spaces each year (by lottery).

• SK–Grade 5: openings vary year to year based on returning students.

• Our admissions follow the TDSB Out-of-Area Admissions policy.

• BAS has no catchment area—anyone with a postal code starting with “M” may apply.

• No bussing is provided; families are responsible for transportation to and from school.
